Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in" (Matthew 25:36)

Here at River of Life Church we seek to help the homeless in Felixstowe; we support Genesis Housing and Sanctuary Housing with clothing donations and also with food bags whenever they require help. Thursday is "Bread Day" when residents look forward to deliveries of fresh loaves and rolls supplied each week by a local bakery and distributed by volunteers from RoL Church. Local companies are also very generous in donating other supplies, quite recently RoL was able to distribute substantial quantities of free paint to brighten up properties utilised by housing associations for sheltering homeless people.

As a church, we are also happy to offer prayer support but for specialist assistance, Suffolk Coastal offer housing advice during "Drop-In Surgeries" in Felixstowe Library at the following times:
Tuesdays    9-30am - 4.30pm
Fridays        9-30am - 4.30pm

Inspire Counselling also provide a service in Ipswich together with a listening service at Felixstowe Library although there is a charge for these services.

If you have a heart for people who may not be quite so fortunate as yourself, we would love to hear from you; there's always a need for help; whether it's a word of encouragement or something more practical, we would really welcome your involvement. Please contact Church Office for more details.
