"I Forgive You"

"Oh Heavenly Father, sometimes it's difficult to forgive when we have been hurt so much. Thank you that you have taught us, through scripture, to nurture a heart full of compassion by the example set by your Son Jesus Christ." Our First Steps study this past week addressed some sensitive issues but God's Word provided practical wisdom which we can each apply in own situations.

A big thank to Anita and Pastor Trevor for taking time out in the "Life News Weekly Studio" to record a new Memory Verse 1 John 1:9 or was it "Anita and Pastor Clever reciting One Jump, One Knife to the Tomb of Please Me Do?" - Who knows, but don't forget to turn on those YouTube Closed Captions for some additional laughter!

Links to all video clips are also provided below - click on an image to view again.

As we progress through this Lenten period you may feel led to follow the steps of Jesus through crucifixion to resurrection in scripture. There are two great new Easter Bible Reading Plans recently uploaded to the RoL Website and we especially recommend "The Easter Story in Virtual Reality" for those who are able to view on computer or tablet. Video clips in stunning HD are included which show the actual places which Jesus is thought to have visited.

We very much look forward to seeing you all once again next week 17th April on Easter Monday.

Best wishes and blessings, Pastor Sean, Angela, Brian & Del

Planning your Visit

First Visit?

web 800x400 (8) Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

Some key information about the church...

Where & when does the church meet?

Our Church meets every Sunday at 10.30am for Sunday Service. Aim to arrive 10 minutes early to get parked and find a seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at:

River of Life Christian Life Centre
2 Carr Road, Felixstowe, IP11 2FS

You can see a map on our Contact us page

There is plenty of parking available on the site.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. There will be approximately 45 mins of singing with opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the bible. After the notices there will be a spiritual message from one of the leaders at the Church with a chance to respond at the end of the service.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are normally served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What happens to the children at church?

We have a fantastic programme for children at the Church for ages 0 thru 17. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. An announcement is made when it's time for children to join their programmes. Children need to be registered.

For more information about programmes and age groups, please refer to the relevant pages under the main menu heading "Ministries".

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!
You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
