Special Events

Special Events & Conferences

Part of the vision of River of Life is to use the Christian Life Centre as a means to reaching out to the local community and also as a Conference Centre for anointed ministry and teaching to equip the wider Church. We organise and host special events, including speakers, musicians, films and drama/dance presentations. The aim is to provide opportunities for people to hear the good news of Jesus in a relevant way. Past events have included the musical ‘Luv Esther’, a weekend with Mission Aviation Fellowship, Tony Antony (author of ‘Taming the Tiger’), the film ‘Faith Like Potatoes’, Zulu Warriors Gospel Concert, Mike Pilavachi and the Soul Survivor Band, two weekend conferences with Gill Gifford, three events with J.John, Nigel Benn & Carolyne Benn, two concerts by the Community Light Orchestra, Davey Falcus (Gangland to God), John Gaughan (Herman's Hermits) and Pastor Bill Wilson of Metro Ministries, New York.

So far in 2012 we have hosted a "Facing the Unthinkable" Seminar by the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service in March.
