Over two million people in the UK and 18 million worldwide have attended an Alpha Course. Courses are being run in tens of thousands of Churches of all denominations across the world. The Alpha Course is designed primarily for people who aren't Churchgoers. People attend for a variety of reasons - some want to investigate whether God exists, others may have attended Church occasionally but feel they have never really understood the basics of the Christian faith.

Andy and Eunice Mayhew head up this exciting Course at River of Life. Many people have enjoyed attending the Course over the years, along with the excellent food cooked by Eunice and her team.

We usually run an Alpha Course each Autumn and further details of our 2013 Alpha Course will be available in the Summer, together with an invitation to our Alpha Introductory Supper on Friday 27 September 2013, 7.00 pm. The Alpha Course itself will then run on Monday evenings from Monday 7 October 2013 to Monday 9 December 2013 inclusive, with a special Away Day on Saturday 16 November 2013. Each Monday evening begins with a two course meal, followed by a DVD, coffee/tea and then discussion in small groups. The Course is relaxed, non-threatening and free of charge.
